Fresh Noodle Journey Across Kedah
 
 

From April 16 to April 25, 2024, our food truck embarked on a 10-day adventure through Kedah, visiting 12 diverse locations across the state. Our mission was twofold: to introduce our fresh noodle products - including mee kuning, koay teow, and laksa - to the people of Kedah, and to gather valuable consumer insights to refine our offerings.

Throughout our journey, we engaged with a wide range of customers at various locations, from bustling city centers to quiet rural towns. We encouraged open feedback, conducting quick surveys and casual conversations to understand local preferences. This approach revealed fascinating insights into Kedah's noodle culture, with many customers appreciating the freshness of our products but also suggesting local flavor adaptations. For instance, we discovered a preference for slightly firmer textures in our koay teow in some areas, while others expressed interest in seeing more traditional Kedah-style preparations for our laksa.

These interactions not only helped us gauge the market reception of our fresh noodles but also provided crucial information for product improvement. We learned about local ingredient preferences, portion size expectations, and even packaging suggestions that could enhance our product's appeal. As we concluded our Kedah tour, we left with a treasure trove of insights, ready to refine our noodle offerings to better serve not just the Kedah market, but to improve our overall product line based on this valuable northern Malaysian perspective.
